This Audi A6 Avant is the 2.7 Turbo version with an automatic transmission. It is in silver with a black leather interior. These cars are comfortable, well equipped, extremely reliable and have bucket loads of space. it has been well maintained and although an older car it still has plenty of years left to offer. It comes with a new ITV and a full service.
All generations of the Audi A6 have offered either front-wheel drive or Torsen-based four-wheel drive, marketed by Audi as their quattro system and come in both petrol and diesel versions.
The very first Audi, the Audi Type A Sport-Phaeton, was manufactured in the German city of Zwickau in 1910. Audi was initially founded by August Horch, who came up with the name for Audi by translating his name into Latin, which means “listen”. The Audi logo’s four rings symbolise the four previously independent motor companies – Audi, DWK, Horch and Wanderer – that merged in 1932, to create what is now known as Audi AG.

As a long distance estate car this is one of the best I have owned. The engine is smooth and can be quite economical on the motorway getting mid to late 30's mpg. The tiptronic autobox on my model is very smooth up and down the gears. — Miles Barton, Wales
Smooth, and comfortable on long trips, pretty fast and excellent handling/brakes, fantastic grip in all weathers. Loads of space for people and luggage, plenty of little cubby holes for change, screen wipes , phone, etc. A true family car but still a little sassy looking. — Martyn Harris, Birmingham
Yes Audi would have gone broke if every car they made was as complete a package as the A6 from 1999. A long time ago I hear you say, and I agree, but, there is always a but isn't there? My A6 2.7 petrol estate has a mere 136000 miles to it's name but up to now has never broken down. No not even once. The poor thing still has the factory exhaust. In fact it still has the factory everything, including the power, comfort, looks, handling and a huge load space the envy of more recent models. Audi, you really should reduce the quality of your output unless you want to go broke. Seriously, this is a really good car and would be a good secondhand buy for anyone needing a big reliable estate car. I recommend it to the people! — Keith Powers, Braintree
