This stunning 2015 Jaguar XF Sportbrake is the S 3.0 TDV6 (275 BHP) model. The XF was developed at Jaguar's Whitley design and development HQ in Whitley, Coventry and was built at Castle Bromwich Assembly facility in Birmingham. Designed by Jaguar's design director Ian Callum,[12] the styling incorporates an oval mesh grille recalling the original XJ of 1968. The boot lid retained the S-Type's chromed blade to its edge and included a "leaper" hood ornament.
The Sportbrake was officially introduced in March 2012, and went on-sale in October of the same year. It is available with all of the saloon's engines and has a loading capacity of 550 litres (19 cubic feet) with the seats up and 1,675 litres (59.2 cubic feet) with them folded.

A beautifully styled, luxuriously appointed, very economical, roomy estate car manufactured by Jaguar. What's not to like? These cars must be among the most reliable that Jaguar ever built. Although mine has only covered less than 40,000 miles, there are a number on the market that have done more than 200,000 miles! The 3.0 litre diesel engine is very economical returning well over 40 mpg on a run. The large cabin can easily take a family of 5 and their luggage, giving plenty of leg room. The enormous rear compartment will not disappoint. Servicing costs are very reasonabe. Prior to owning this model, I previously had a 2.2 litre version for over 2 years and again could find little to crticise althogh the 3.0 litre six cylinder version is much smoother. Having owned my 3.0 litre Sportbrake for 3 years, I really struggle to find anything negative to say about these grand touring estate cars. Well done Jaguar! — Tony Jackson, Esher
Bought as nearly new, owned for 6 months and covered 15000 miles. Outstanding long distance performance combined with very decent economy, averaging out at 44.1 so far. Combined with 275bhp/3.0v6 diesel you get economy and pretty thundering performance, too. I just love this car! Traded up from an XF Luxury saloon 2.2 which was impressive but always loved the Portfolio trim and particularly, the ivory leather/piano black interior. There has been criticism online of the lack of boot space but unless you want to regularly transport large pieces of furniture or awkward items, it is more than capable. The 3.0 engine is extremely powerful underfoot and be careful, I've got to nearly 100 MPH on a dual carriageway without being aware as it it so smooth and effortless. It simply glides along and with minimum internal engine noise. The sport seats fit nicely around you and give gentle support which you can personalise to your own requirements on a memory setting. The controls are straightforward and easy to use and the Meridian sound system, despite my love of the Bowers and Wilkins on my previous XF, is crisp and rich. I was a bit of purist when Jaguar launched the Sportbrake as I felt that the XF should always be a sports saloon but I am now a complete convert. This is no ordinary estate, it's a cut above. Smooth lines, tinted windows, 20" wheels and discrete spoiler. Its a car that gets you noticed, It often gets appreciative looks and comments whenever I've been out and about. — Kyle Walters, Devizes
